Hey - just wondering if anyone knew how to modify an existing expert advisor so that it works with forex brokers' mt4 clients with suffixes. For example, an EA I wrote doesn't work properly on forex.com/Gain's MetaTrader4 platform since all the quotes have FXF after it, EURUSDFXF.

I'm setting up to test several strategies and need good historical data - specifically M1 data for nine currency pairs. This creates a question for which I need help:

* Once I download the historical data that I need, what is the best way to "clean" the data of gaps, glitches, and other irrelevant noise?

I'd be grateful for some knowledgeable input on this matter.

i am trying to learn mql4 and am having trouble with the details. i am presently reading the tutorial and cannot determine how to obtain the bid and asked price for a currency pair. i understand the function calls and the predefined variables such as Bars but have not found the function that returns the price for a currency pair. please HELP>

I recently created the demo.dll in the MetaTrader development course but when I put the script into my MetaTrader program, I am getting the message "cannot load library 'demo.dll' (error 126). Can someone help me figure out what this message means and why it is occuring?

The Idea of the script is to use high [1] - low [1] to calculate lots, the account percentage risk is fixed at 1/4 percent.
